If you are not on a mission, not excited by your daily life, or not elated by a vision or a purpose, you are most likely suffering.
If this is the case for you, if you are suffering right now, you mainly have three choices:
- numbing yourself through addictions such as TV or Youtube binging, porn, video games, work, alcohol, food,...
- go on the lone wolf path and try to figure everything out on your own
- get support in any helpful way

Which path have you taken for yourself?

If you are numbing, it is probably from an unconscious place within. Numbing oneself is an easy way helping to avoid feeling suffering. It makes sense that men use this strategy as they were never taught nor encouraged to feel their emotions.

If you are lone-wolfing, you are taking the risk of missing opportunities for growth. Even though I believe that a man must go through hardship to get physically stronger and sharpen his mind, he also needs to realize the cost to his health, well-being, and relationships to live from this paradigm. It is also quite an arrogant proposition to think that we can figure out everything on our own, isn't it?

I want you to be open to another possibility, one that is resourceful, growth-oriented, supportive and connecting.
So if you feel so, I invite you to consider a therapist, a counsellor, a coach, or a men's group like The Men's Group Singapore. We meet every Tuesday evening at 730pm. You can join the group here.
Feeling heard, seen and understood by other men will support your well-being by increasing your self-awareness, self-understanding and self-compassion. Our capacity to think and be creative will proportionally increase with our capacity to express first and then regulate our emotions. If you want direct support and special attention to grow faster, I invite you to book a complimentary coaching call with me here.

It is my wish that every man is in a men's group.
